The picture doesn't quite do the place justice. Paul had to move big heavy boxes just so I could get around. Amazingly, he knows just what he has and where it is. When I picked out a Pancy Lau record, he told me he had a copy in better condition underneath three other boxes. Pancy Lau is the Asian Nancy Sinatra.
The Stores. The Chores. The Mainstream. The Oddball. The Serious. The Goofy. The Awesome. The Not So Awesome. 45's. 33's. The 'What Were They Thinking.' Stories from the Store. Observations from my armchair.
What's All This Then
Why should I care what this guy has to say?
The correct answer is that you shouldn’t. We’re all entitled to our opinions. Develop your own. I try to be sane and rational, but that may change with the level of caffeine intake. I’m just telling my stories in the hopes they may amuse and/or inform others. And... I Confess... I'm showing off my bitchen collection a bit.

Record Underground in Hong Kong
No visit to Kong Kong would be complete without a visit to Paul. Spent a long time there talking to the guy. Very interesting character. He lives with his vinyl in a small apartment somewhere in Kowloon. Told me he climbs over the records like a monkey. Picked up a copy of a rare Who single 'Dogs' which evidently was only a big hit in Malaysia. Lots of goofy Asian rock as well. It's been a few years. I can't wait to go back for another visit if my work sends me there again.
